What are Freedom Weekends about?
Understanding our identity and authority in Christ
Learning how to hear His voice
Breaking free from the lies of the enemy (shame, fear, anger)
Receiving from God
Blessing others
Our hope is that we are growing a community of people who know our identity as God’s beloved, are living free from all the stuff the enemy tries to entangle us with and are fully equipped to care for others and share the transforming power of Jesus…because we just can’t help it.
It isn’t out of duty or obligation, it just spills out because we have encountered the love of a good Father. These weekends are one of the best ways we have seen to kick-start these things in our lives, and SUCH a great place to deepen friendship with others who are pursuing the same things! They have been described as both a catalyst for becoming un-stuck and a ‘tool-box’ for living a life free from generational strongholds, trauma or even just a life of religion that has left you feeling hopeless and stuck.
When Jesus promised ‘eternal life’, he wasn’t referring only to eternity in heaven some day. In Greek, the phrase means “zoe life”—abundant, whole, peace-filled, even when circumstances would say otherwise. This is the life we believe he intended for ALL who would receive it.
Part teaching, part workshop, part self-reflection, personal prayer ministry and sharing & receiving testimony, these weekends are a safe and encouraging space to heal and to learn the what and the how of the eternal-abundant-zoe life we were intended for.
