It’s not complicated or fancy.  It’s just TIME and truth, and the presence of Jesus.  Sometimes I feel like I'm fumbling along, trying to find the exact right next step, and then God reminds me to just be available.  

Make time.  Tell the truth.  Love big.  

Walk with people into His presence.  

At our last River Life Youth retreat, God challenged me to leave the weekend’s agenda blank. “Pray through it, pray FOR the girls, invite my presence…but don’t plan too much in advance. Wait on me. Ask me each morning what I want to do and I’ll show you the way.”

 …Jesus was not calling to a vague and unspecified blob of humanity.  We aren't a number to him, but a unique, purposed possibility.  He seeks us out and includes us in both becoming AND creating ‘aliveness’ around us. The call to move - to act - is never a "one and done" response to Jesus because life as He describes it is about abundance and fullness, creation, and cultivation.
